The exhibition is divided into TWO separate smaller exhibitions, to provide a more considered gallery show. Alex Hartley and Nowhereisland
In summer 2012, North Devon will welcome an extraordinary visitor, Nowhereisland, a floating island nation, devised by Devon-based artist, Alex Hartley (pictured right, photo: Max McClure). It will be moored at Ilfracombe 1-4 September 2012, almost at the final stage of its journey from the Jurassic Coast to the Bristol Channel, as a major project of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad. January News: Call for artists for two major open studio events
Registration for the 2012 Devon Open Studios event has now opened; artists and craftspeople across the county are invited.
