NDA's Busy Month of Art

Many NDA members have solo exhibitions on this month across the region, with shows by Marianne Edwards (at Broomhill, Muddiford), Janis Glover (in Okehampton), Tim Saunders (in Ilfracombe) and Jake Howard (in Barnstaple). Earth Dreaming: Linda Gordon at Appledore Festival

Appledore

NDA member, Linda Gordon will be creating an installation for the Appledore Visual Arts Festival, entitled 'Earth Dreaming'. It will be a large circular floor piece made up of variously coloured pebbles and small stones, with inspiration taken from an amalgam of traditional cultures, such as the Navaho sand paintings, Aboriginal art and the Tibetan ‘sand’ mandalas; laying pebbles in various designs on the floor, rather like mosaic, building up to a finished work during the course of the Festival. more...
