I am a visual painter of natural history, landscapes, and flowers. My inspiration comes from a variety of sources - it could be the shortest glimpse of an interesting landscape or the tiny detail of some creature or plant. Generally, my influence comes from the natural world with its endless beauty and intrigue. I am particularly interested in contrast and harmony, and the relationship between the two in its natural state. Oh, and blue.
I am very happy to undertake commissions. These can be tailored to your exact requirements, for example house portraits, or your favourite view/item with a chosen sky etc, totally unique to you! I have worked on commercial public art, such as murals and pub signs. In fact my slogan used to be - 'if it doesn't move, I'll paint it!'
