Hazel has been involved in North Devon Arts since its start, entering exhibitions over the years including doing a workshop at Appledore.
Other exhibitions Hazel has taken part in include Art Trek, Burton Art Gallery at Bideford and North Devon College.

Artist's Statement

Using various media to produce energetic colourful and inspirational work, Hazel is experienced in Art and Design and textile workshops producing a lively mixture of water-colours, landscapes, life drawings, embellished felt and pottery.
Her success lies in the inspiration drawn from the surrounding countryside varying with the seasons and mood of the land and sea.  Texture, colour cascading down from remote cliffs, reflection of rocky outcrops and remoteness of hidden coves are conveyed in the seascapes.
