‘Ecology expresses the interdependence of an environment; how the action of a part may affect the whole.’ I make pictures to express my relationship with my environment through an intuitive use of symbols, abstraction and narrative. My influences are predominantly from primitive and children’s art combined with an understanding of contemporary art practices. Media ranges from oil, acrylic and watercolour to digital technology, mud and ink-cap fungus ink. I have made and exhibited my work in England and in Ireland, where I lived from 1993-2003. I presently live in North Devon. My work is sold as originals, prints and cards, and I am open to commission. I also provide services as an illustrator and graphic designer. It is my intent to evoke an understanding of a spiritual ecology. For more information please visit my website.
