Studied Sculpture at Canterbury University, New Zealand -1959-63
Taught Art at Palmerston North Girls High School, New Zealand
Came to England 1966
Taught art in London
Married and moved to Devon 1967
Shared an antiques business and taught Art part time
 
Exhibited in Manawatu Art Gallery New Zealand
Commissioned to make 14 ceramic relief Stations of the Cross for St Mary's Church, Barnstaple 1985
Exhibiting member of Westward Ho and Bideford Art Society
Exhibiting member of North Devon Arts

Artist's Statement

I make individual sculptures in stoneware clay. Each figure is the result of a lifetime of people watching and sketching. Each sculpture develops without too many preconceived ideas - rather like a three dimensional doodle. Subjects tend to be domestic or romantic.
