Artist's Profile

Ailsa Addicott

Having grown up in Devon Ailsa is inspired (as are many of her contemporaries) by the gentle Devonshire countryside. She is fortunate to have the Torridge and Taw Estuary plus the Atlantic Ocean on her doorstep all providing her with a wealth of material for her painting. With the aid of sketches and photographs she works freely in acrylic capturing the mood of the place visited be it sea or landscape.
