We would like to thank Joan Stribling De’Launay for her wonderful talk and slideshow last Wednesday night and would also like to thank all of the people who came along to enjoy the talk.

Joan had obviously put a great deal of planning and effort into her talk which was complimented by a series of slide photos projected onto a large screen. To compliment the talk, Joan had laid out a selection of items on a table which included masks from Alice in Wonderland and her prized BAFTA award for Vincent Van Gogh. Several people commented on the award being much heavier than they had expected!

Everyone agreed the whole evening had been a great success.
