About Astrid

1. I consider my work to be very geometric and structural often focusing on compositions of the ever changing environment surrounding me. Shapes, colours and textures are things I focus on and I appreciate things that people often miss, discard or presume ugly and unnecessary. Having started in a more industrialized environment and moving somewhere so incredibly beautiful has allowed my work to evolve in style and theme. Having a fine art degree in painting and also working in photography and sculpture has given me the knowledge and experience to use as I please and I adore having the freedom to develop and Express myself. I look forward to seeing where this natural, stunning, scenic environment takes me
