- Paula Davies
For many years, my work as a photojournalist and picture editor defined my photographs. In the early days I thrived on the fast-paced nature, my innate curiosity and the competitive thrill of ‘getting the shot’. Through a combination of getting older and changes in the industry, I began to reassess my photography and what it meant to me. After time spent living in America, Spain and East Sussex, I returned to north Devon where I have become interested in the landscape and its social and environmental impacts.
Currently, I am studying a BA Hons in photography and experimenting with digital practice, collage and the ‘found photograph’.
