Local artist has work featured in London gallery

David Dare in the Mall Gallery London

Congratulations to local artist and NDA member David Dare who has recently had his work featured at the prestigious Mall Galleries in London

The exhibition was the 101st annual show by the Society Of Graphic Fine Art which always draws a large audience.

Founded in 1919, the Society Of Graphic Fine Art promotes fine drawing skills in both traditional and contemporary media. Today there are more than 130 elected members of the SGFA across the UK — professional artists from all areas of the art world who work in all drawing and printmaking media.

The Society organises events through the year, culminating in the Annual Open Exhibition with outstanding drawings by some of Britain’s finest professional artists, members and non-members alike. The Society also stages regional members-only exhibitions.

David’s outstanding work was chosen to feature in the exhibition alongside many other highly talented artists throughout the UK. David says he was honoured to be chosen.

We were informed by David’s wife Linda who was equally as proud and excited describing David as ‘my fab husband!’ which I think we have to agree with. Well done David. Fantastic work and a great achievement.
