Heather Roberts will be displaying her vivid canvases of work inspired by her life in  The Gambia, West Africa. She lives and works there for half of every year, running a Winter/Spring seasonal eco-lodge with her Gambian husband. She has a large art/craft studio workshop in the tropical grounds where guests can enjoy experimenting and creating. The other half of the year she lives in Barnstaple and manages to continue working in her small summer-house/ studio in her tiny courtyard garden.

Her stylised work is mainly in acrylic with some mixed media and oils. They are joyful pieces celebrating the colours and movement of the black African people.
