Speak Up project with Steve Gear

Speak Up Landmark and Queens Theatre

Event Details

Speak Up is a new secondary school programme created by National Theatre to encourage young people to speak up about the issues that matter to them through creative art.

In North Devon, the project is managed by Steve Gear who is looking to recruit a bank of local artists from all creative practices including fine art, dance, theatre, photography, media and digital art to design and deliver a programme for schools throughout our region.

On Wednesday 8th March, Steve will be speaking to NDA members at Studio KIND in Braunton about the ‘Speak Up’ project and how we as an organisation or as individuals could get involved and help.

This is an opportunity for you to share your skills and experience an possibly inspire the next generation of artists.

Why not bring examples of your work along on Wednesday to chat with Steve and other NDA members in an informal and friendly atmosphere?
