Stoke Introduces 2019 – this year we will be introducing MR GRAHAM SHORT ON SATURDAY 16 NOVEMBER AT 7.00PM, AT STOKEINTEIGNHEAD VILLAGE HALL. Graham is a world-renowned micro-artist engraver and is responsible for engraving Jane Austen’s head on four £5 notes and spending them in the four countries which make up the UK – these are now worth approx £55k! He is also responsible for engraving The Lord’s Prayer on top of a pin head and more recently engraving a poem written by the Poet Laureate on a pill measuring 22mm by 10mm. This was commissioned by the Institute of Cancer Research and will be displayed at the Institute’s Centre for Cancer Drug Discovery when it opens next year. See The Daily Telegraph of Wednesday 14 August 2019. There are many other projects which he has undertaken, far too many to mention here, but his client list ranges from Royalty across the world to A-list celebrities. If you would like to know more about Graham and why; * he works from midnight to 5am, * he takes beta blockers, potassium and magnesium, * he injects botox into his eyelids, * he swims 10km a day, please contact me to reserve a ticket. Tickets cost £12.50pp which will include a hot supper and dessert. We are expecting this to have great appeal and have already sold 40 of the 100 tickets we have available, so please reply quickly if you’d like to come. Graham is a vibrant speaker and one which he assures me you won’t be bored with. Extracts from testimonials include: “What a character and what an artist!
