Clay hand building workshop with Eilean Eland

Eilean will introduce basic methods of making small figures (or abstract forms) including coiling, pinching and modelling. She will show you the varied materials she uses to texture and colour the sculptures, and explain how they work. Your sculptures will be fired after the workshop and you will be able to collect them approximately one month afterwards.

You will make one or two small sculptures exploring the methods shown, and colour them usin g the slips and underglaze stains in the studio.

• The fee includes all materials and firing
• Please wear unimportant clothes and bring your own lunch!
