As you may be aware, at our recent Annual General Meeting, several long-standing members of the NDA Committee stepped down. We were unable to recruit new members to fill the roles, so have taken the decision to utlise what resources we do have and restructure how the management of the NDA will work.
This will not directly affect our members, but it does require changes to our constitution which must be approved by our members. Therefore, we are holding a Special General Meeting on Wednesday 10th November at 7.00pm at our regular meeting place of Studio KIND in Braunton in order to discuss and vote.
You are more than welcome to attend, to voice your opinion or even offer to join the new team who are now managing the organisation.
Following on from our Special General Meeting, we will be presenting a talk from Jeanette Appleton who is a freelance textile artist, specialising in the felting technique and the transformation of materials by hand or industrial processes. Jeanette has exhibited widely in the UK and abroad.
For examples of her work, you can visit her website at https://jeanetteappletonuk.wixsite.com/mysite or simply search google for Jeanette Appleton which will return many images of her artwork.
This promises to be another informative and interesting evening in the lovely surroundings of a Studio Kind.
